Learning From Friends
Each person has their own unique story to tell and knowledge to share through their experiences in their lives. Let's be honest here we are the only experts on ourselves because no one else lives the energy behind our own eyes. Here at Learning From Friends, I find myself fortunate enough to spend some time with my friends introducing them to you and allowing them to take us on a journey into their world. During each conversation, my curious self will ask questions to gain more insight into these topics discussed with us to understand better and the goal of learning something new.

Talking Nuclear Energy w/ Matt Marchese (Part 2)

Talking Nuclear Energy w/ Matt Marchese (Part 2)

In this episode, we discussf Nuclear Energy, both fission and fusion. At first glance, I know most of you are thinking, skip or nope, this episode is not for me. STOP that thought and listen because of how Matt talks with enthusiasm and understanding of the topic. In his previous episode, we spoke of general common forms of energy coal, natural gas, hydroelectric, and wind. In this episode, we solely focus on nuclear fusion an fission energy. We discuss Safety, Sustainability, Efficiency / Cost (Conversion Efficiency, Operational Costs), Environmental Impacts, real estate, and Consistency. Around the end of the episode, we discuss the nuclear disasters of Chernobyl and Fukushima and the avoided potential seven-mile island incident. I hope you found little bits of knowledge that open your mind.
